This is a really neat book, it does a great job of teaching money and telling a story at the same time Kids will love the story and secretly learning about money at the same time. Sarah a little girl and Grub a small monster want to join the Monster Club They attend their first meeting and the monsters are discussing what to do with the 54 they have saved Should they spend it, save it, invest it or give it away to help others Sarah gives some good advice about creating a budget and opening a bank account to save a portion This is a nice introduction into basic economic principles presented in a way that will be engaging to children. Amazing Book, The Monster Money Book Author Loreen Leedy This Is Very Good And Becomes The Main Topic To Read, The Readers Are Very Takjup And Always Take Inspiration From The Contents Of The Book The Monster Money Book, Essay By Loreen Leedy Is Now On Our Website And You Can Download It By Register What Are You Waiting For Please Read And Make A Refission For You From a teaching stance, I thought this book was inappropriate for it s target age group It seems to be for young children since it s about little monsters trying to join a club And then you want to teach students about interest and things like that I don t know how that would work and how they could understand that when they are barely learning addition and subtraction and maybe multiplication By the time they are learning about interest, they won t want to read a book about little monsters in a club I may be wrong but I would not use this as a teaching tool. This right here is a book every parent should show their child learning the currency and how to spend it and save it is a great lesson for children to learn I loved how sarah in the book set up a budget and spending habits for the club the kids have Like i said this is an amazing book for children to read and learn the concept of money at a young age. This book would be a great introduction to a unit on money and or on spending and saving Sarah and Grub attend a Monster Club meeting and have an interest in joining That day, the club is deciding how to spend their money Sarah explains budgets, spending, saving, and bank accounts to the club members They come up with a club budget and vote Sarah and Grub into the Monster Club Ran across this book while searching for something else but it looked cute so it came home It is an easy to follow book for young children to learn about money in a way that isn t mom and dad telling them what to do with their money I loved how each little monster shared what they knew to the new members of the club and allowed the new member to talk and share. This is a great book to use to teach about money It goes into savings, investing, interest gained in a bank, and much Even though I feel that this would be used to teach upper elementary students at least you could use it for all ages The book looks like it is geared toward young children but I m not sure they would understand or care about the best ways to handle money. This is a strange, but entertaining book that helps to teach children about money Concepts included counting money, saving money and basics about budgeting, including having money set aside to save, spend and give to others The illustrations are colorful and comical and the monsters are weird than scary The addition of a human girl in the story is a bit strange, too, but doesn t detract from the story Overall, it s an informative book that teaches without being boring We enjoyed reading this book together. I think this book is a great way to expand on teaching children about money There are some things that I don t like about it and that I feel should be explained in detail One of the things I don t like is the explanation of how to use a check book and the bank card I would definitely add another lesson, or even multiple lessons, on how to use a checkbook properly Also I feel like some of these things need to be taught in middle school It s great to learn this early on, but there are things can be taught later as well The first part of this book is really useful and informative.
