Red And The Wolf is a modern day rendition of the classic children s fairytale, Little Red Riding Hood, Red is a newspaper reporter who suffers from ADD, and can t keep her life under control while her coworker, Wolf Skinner, seeks her companionship in order to advance his social status Hunter Woods is Red s childhood friend who s looking for than just her friendship The settings are very well described, making it a picturesque story, but character development was a bit shallow I ve read the author s Bellewood Series books which are rich in detail and told with depth of character This novella is a cute rendition of a children s fairytale, but a bit simplified compared to June Foster s other works I would recommend this to teen readers as a great transitional book from children s books into young adult novels There are some unexpected events that pick up the plot, and this is a sweet afternoon or evening read with a cup of your favorite beverage The spiritual message is a bonus to this tale.Disclaimer I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for my honest review All opinions are my own, and no monetary compensation was received for this review.

This book was very different from June s other writing There is no issue as a theme here, but it follows the pattern of the old fairy tale Little Red Riding Hood But is Wolf Skinner really the big bad wolf You will have to read to find out I enjoyed this tale, but it was not my favorite book by June that honor lies with her book Ryan s Father It was a light hearted fun read though and it is enjoyable Available in e book format for only 99 cents, so anyone can be able to afford and enjoy it 4 stars from this reviewer I purchased this book on my own and no review was required from anyone, I just chose to share my opinions of this story.

This is a very sweet, fun re telling of Little Red Riding Hood All the characters are there, with a twist Red is ditzy and sweet, Hunter is handsome and chivalrous, and Wolf is, well, Wolf a man who needs God You will love the way June sets these characters in a Christian themed story.
