We enter the story as Sabine is getting ready to embark on Sakk, an alien planet, to be claimed by a mate We get to experience some of her apprehension and fear.Sabine s apprehension continues on until General Sahtahn puts her at ease Her claiming is erotic, sensual, and descriptive Throughout the claiming we get of an understanding of the laws and culture on Sakk However, it is a short story revolving around a claiming, so there is not an in depth explanation regarding the planet and culture The author just highlights what we need to know for this story. As about the culture comes out so does the personalities of both Sabine and Sahtahn It s hard not to fall for this couple and hope the best for them Between Sabine s loving nature and inexperience and Sahtahn s kind, caring nature and experience the two just about light the pages on fire. For paranormal erotic romance and science fiction fans, Brenna Lyons short story is a must read If you have read Sons of Heaven Beldon and you need another fix of this fantasy world then you will enjoy Daughters of Man Prize Match.

This is a beautiful story about a scared short flight Sakk woman travelling from her home on a seed world to the homeworld Her emotions and doubts are clear but not overdone, her courage the sort anyone could muster with the right understanding, and the ending lightens the heart.Love this series.

The word has spread The males know a winged female is up for claim In Brenna Lyons created world Sakk, you will meet Sabine a short flight female who has been bred on another planet and has come to Sakk to be claimed She knows she will have to take a mate but demands one thing Sahtahn is a full wing Sakk male who is not looking for a mate until he sees Sabine But there are rules that must be followed and others who want to claim her.I found in this short story by Ms Lyons a unique plot with two well thought out characters that made the off world theme almost realistic if you believe in angels and Nephilim I love how the author played up the sense of touch and gave such detail description of just how the wing creatures looked I found a number of sexual scenes that were delicious and could melt Hershey Kisses There was conflict and a courtship of sort and maybe even a happy ever after I think, but was a little confused at the conclusion Even though I did feel some emotional attachment to both characters, the story was really too short to get a good feel of their personalities The narrative was decent, but I was a little disappointed that it didn t have of a plot like The Sons of Heaven I would recommend reading The Sons of Heaven first so that you can better enjoy Daughters of Men Prize Match even though it is a stand alone tale I will continue to read both The Sons of Heaven and The Daughters of Men series simply because I like the concept of angel Nephilim like people and Ms Lyons imagination and writing style.originally posted at
